American Council of the Blind of New York and the Music Conservatory Team up to Host Benefit Concert Promoting Blindness Awareness

White Plains, N.Y. –the Westchester chapter of the American Council of the Blind of New York is hosting an evening of energetic music and awareness to raise sorely needed funding to support advocacy efforts on behalf of blind and visually impaired Westchester residents.
The summer concert takes place on July 18 from 1-5 p.m. at the Westchester Music Conservatory, 216 Central Park Avenue, White Plains, NY. . The band, Los Ciegos Del Barrio (The Blind Boys from the Hood) are the musical guests and will play two 1 hour sets.
During the break, there will also be a gift basket raffle and bake sale. All proceeds will benefit the Westchester County chapter of the American Council of the Blind of New York.
Tickets at the door cost $40 per adult/$10 per child under 13.
The Westchester Council of the Blind is a local chapter of The American Council of the Blind of New York, whose purpose is to support and promote the educational, vocational and social advancement of blind and visually impaired persons living in Westchester County.
